Grateful Despite Daily Difficulties

We receive abundant reports of gratitude and blessings from Ukraine regarding the charitable projects we support.
Ms. Larysa (left picture above) is an elderly widow who must spend a big amount of her modest pension on medication. Thanks to the generosity of our Donors, she was able to stay warm this past winter. She was one of the recipients of the funds from the “Warmth for Ukraine” campaign, and the assistance in covering her heating costs was a tangible sign of God's care:
I know that it was God Himself who helped me through you, because every day I ask for His protection and help in my life. Thank you very much to you and Him!
Yuri (right picture above) is a pastor at our partnering church in Lutsk. Due to his ministry, he has limited opportunities to take up additional jobs. The support he received from our Donors to heat his home was another way he experienced God’s provision for his family:
Thank you for your help, in which we saw God's love and care. At a time when the country is at war, unemployment is rampant, and food is expensive, God has not forgotten us but cares for us every day. You have become His good hands in difficult times. May God bless you and reward you a hundredfold.
On behalf of all 26 families from Lutsk and the 50 pensioners of the Zaozerne Center for Displaced Persons, I want to thank you for joining our mission and for the support we have provided together. It was not only physical warmth from brothers and sisters from across the world, but also a powerful reminder of God’s provision.
In these past weeks of turmoil and uncertainty about the ongoing situation in Ukraine, every act of kindness to our brothers and sisters there shows our love for them even more.
